Winonah graduated from the University of North Dakota Department of Social Work, and Department of Communication. She has her minor in psychology and chemical dependency and is licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota as Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Licensed Addiction Counselor. Winonah did advocacy and policy work for Native American Children at a University setting prior to pursuing her clinical licensure, and has spent her clinical career in public/rural community health settings. She is passionate about trauma informed care, and cultural competency. Winonah is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Age ranges served by Winonah include 7+ with a primary passion for adolescents and young adults struggling with trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, self-esteem, depression, attachment, chronic stress, women issues, and family issues. Hobbies include biking, exploring, cooking, DIY projects/interior design, arts/crafts, and my 3 beautiful children.
Erica obtained her Masters in Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of North Dakota with a minor in chemical dependency. Erica's prior experience includes working as a MN Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and MN Licensed Clinical Social Worker helping adult men and women overcome and addiction and mental health issues and enter into a lifestyle of recovery. Erica is a Certified Grief Informed Professional (CGP), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy Professional (DBT), and is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). In addition, she has received specialized training in treating victims of domestic violence and persons suffering from co-occurring disorders. Erica works with persons ranging from ages 9+ with a primary passion working with adolescents and adults suffering from trauma related concerns and co-occurring disorders. In her free time, Erica enjoys traveling, walking/hiking, gardening, spending time in nature, reading, and spending time with family.
Becky (she/they) graduated from the University of North Dakota with a master's in social work (MSW). They are currently a licensed master’s social worker (LMSW) in North Dakota. Becky moved to Grand Forks from Albuquerque, NM, and has been here since 2018. They have over five years of experience in behavioral health after spending 15 years in the food and beverage industry. Becky uses a person-centered approach to build a collaborative relationship for healing and growth. They are trained in CBT and Motivational Interviewing. They see individuals aged 10 and up who are dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship and sexuality issues, LGBTQ+ issues, and healing from trauma. They have a special interest in assisting people through major life changes. In their free time, they enjoy board games, D&D, arts and crafts, and doing nail art.
Roni is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Master of Arts (MA) graduate from the University of North Dakota. She is an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians in Belcourt, ND. She has been in the field since 2018 and has worked with diverse populations experiencing various mental health challenges. Roni’s clinical approach focuses on trauma, family systems, feministic, multicultural, and interpersonal forms of therapy. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She works with individuals (age 7 & up) and is experienced in play therapy. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and (TF-CBT). Roni values and emphasizes inclusivity and is LGBTQIA+ affirming in her practice. Roni enjoys gaming, baking, Marvel, laughter, quilting, arts/crafts, and traveling.
Dr. Caylee Ellingson is a Licensed Psychologist (LP) in North Dakota. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from the University of North Dakota. She earned her doctorate degree (PhD) in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oklahoma. She has worked in the field since 2012 and has worked with various and diverse populations. She believes that the relationship is so important in therapy in order to create a meaningful collaboration. She believes that authenticity and transparency help to build a solid foundation for growth and change. She utilizes a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approach. She also has specific training in trauma-informed approaches and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). She primarily works with adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and women’s issues. In her free time, she enjoys reading nonfiction books, baking, going for walks, and creating things.
Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with youth and adults on a variety of things, including living with mental health challenges. Her strengths-based and person-centered approaches enable her to hopefully walk with adults as they navigate depressive symptoms, anxiety, trauma responses, and other stressors. She is certified in TF-CBT and EMDR, and has training in multiple other modalities including Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and play-based therapeutic interventions. She also works with children, able to serve those six years of age and older on things like anxiety, grief, and identity exploration. Emily has lived in the Grand Forks area for over two decades, is grateful to call it home, and honored to be able to work with people within this community & the surrounding areas!
Kayla (she/her) has a background in billing and office management. Kayla moved to Grand Forks from Anchorage, AK and has been here since 2021. They have a little over 8 years of experience in office work and 3 years in billing, as well as close to 18 years in customer service industry. She plans to incorporate her drive and experience to help Woodnote Therapy grow to exceed the needs of the community. Kayla has a passion for singing when no one can hear her. In her free time, they enjoy most anything crafty, woodworking, working on her truck, and board/card games…D&D is the best! Roll for initiative!
Gabbi is part of the clinical support team, where she assists with front desk operations and provides office support and scheduling services to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning. She is dedicated to fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere at Woodnote! Outside of work, Gabbi enjoys arts and crafts, walking her dog, and being outside in nature.
